Lemon Milk Sherbet

 

1 1/4 - cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1 lemon rind
1/4 teaspoon lemon extract
2 cups milk
   
Combine sugar, lemon juice, rind & lemon extract.  Add milk.  Stir until sugar is dissolved.  Freeze in ice cream tray until frozen.  Remove from tray and whip.  Refreeze.
