ROB'S SNICKER CAKE
|1 German Chocolate Cake Mix||3/4 cup milk|
|1¼ cups water||1 - 14 oz. package caramels|
|1/3 cup oil||1/2 cup butter|
|3 eggs||1 - 12 oz. package chocolate
(6 oz. may be plenty)
|3/4 cup nuts, chopped|
|Grease & flour a
9x13 inch pan. Mix cake according to package directions, and pour 1/2
of mixture into the pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.
While cake is baking, melt caramels and butter in the milk. Stir occasionally. Pour mixture over hot cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.
Pour other half of cake batter on top. Bake 20 minutes longer.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
